Lands' End Gift Card Promotion

Lands' End, Winter 2005

Project Details:

• In the days running up to Christmas, this interface was featured on the homepage of Landsend.com
• The goal was to allow people to purchase e-gift cards directly from the homepage after reliably shipping product to customers with standard shipping methods by Christmas was no longer possible.

My Involvement:

• Based on a pre-existing interface, I had to rewrite a good portion of the javascript that powers the interface to allow it to function on the homepage due to restrictions placed by the Lands' End Content Management System.
• My responsibilities included communicating risks, meeting with numerous stake-holders throughout the company, and browser testing.
